WEST COLUMBIA, SC -- Let Lexington Two students help you get into the holiday spirit this season.
Several schools will offer musical performances, open to the community. You also can catch performances at several community tree lightings and other holiday events. Many schools also are holding charity donation drives to benefit those in need during the holidays.

HOLIDAY DRIVES
Several schools are holding holiday drives, and area businesses and residents are welcome to make donations, which will help those in need in the community. Here’s a sampling:
Riverbank Elementary food drive: Guidance counselors have organized a drive to collect canned goods and nonperishable food items for the Cayce Women’s Club. Donated items will be sent to Cayce City Hall on the day of its annual tree lighting on November 30.
Airport High toy drive: The school is collecting new toys for ages 2-9, with plans to hold an event later in December to give away toys to community children. Toys will be accepted at Airport through December 6. Questions, email [email protected].
