The National Weather Service is calling for the possibility of snow in the Midlands area. With forecast high temperatures not expected to make it out of the 30s on Wednesday, the possibility of lingering snow and/or ice will make for potentially hazardous road and travel conditions for cars and buses.

Teachers will send Chromebooks home with students after school Tuesday. Students’ assignments will be posted, and teachers will be available during virtual office hours, as outlined in our eLearning from the Home flyer.  You’ll find flyers on eLearning from the Home and our technology help desk here

District officials will check on school facilities and bus route conditions Wednesday. We expect to communicate the school day schedule for Thursday, January 23, with families and staff on Wednesday afternoon.

We urge everyone to be weather aware this week and to stay safe amid these very cold temperatures.
