Lexington School District Two will offer 2 Artistically Gifted and Talented Classes – one for Theatre Arts and a new class for Dance. Parents may nominate a child for one or both of these classes. Contact your child’s teacher by Thursday, September 2. Students who were previously in the program do not have to re-audition.
Dance Program
Open to students currently in grades 3-12.
Auditions will take place at Busbee Creative Arts Academy on Saturday, September 25th. Each child nominated with receive a specific time for their audition.
The class for students in grades 3-6 will take place on Wednesdays from 4-5 pm at the Saluda River Academy for the Arts. Parents are responsible for transportation. There is no charge for this class; however, parents are responsible for the cost of their child’s costume for the year-end performance (held in the spring).
Theatre Arts Program
Open to students currently in grades 4-8.
Auditions will take place at Saluda River Academy for the Arts on Saturday, September 25th. Each child nominated will receive a specific time for their audition. Students who were previously in the program do not have to re-audition.
Classes for students in grades 4 & 5 will take place on Wednesday from 3:30-4:30 pm at the Saluda River Academy for the Arts.
