Principal's Message

Hello Springdale Elementary Family!  

I am very excited to serve as the principal of Springdale Elementary School.   I am honored to be a part of such a wonderful group of faculty, staff, students, families, and community members.  It is my hope that while your child is at Springdale Elementary, you find we are committed to upholding our mission, “Where Children and Learning Come First.”

 

I am also very fortunate to have Melanie Yoder return this year as Springdale's Assistant Principal. She has a strong education foundation here in Lexington Two, as a teacher at Springdale and the former Pineview Elementary, and as an Instructional Coach and Assistant Principal at Wood Elementary. She brings a lot of experience and great ideas to our administrative team! 

 

This is my 15th year here in Lexington Two! I was a fifth-grade teacher at Pineview Elementary for 9 years and Assistant Principal at Cayce Elementary for 4 years.  I love working in this district and am looking forward to many more years to come. 

 

I am very blessed to have a supportive family that includes my husband, Ryan, and our three children. When we are not at school, our family loves spending time at church and at the ball field. We are huge Gamecock fans and enjoy going to watch the Gamecocks play any chance we get. 

 

Thank you for all of the support and encouragement you have given us. We are looking forward to Dolphinately the best school year ever, "Let's Make Waves"!
